First Post (kinda)!

Hello world, this is Balaakay

I this is my first real post that I will keep up for the foreseeable future. I have many things I want to do with this site. But first, I need to make it look much better than the current state of garbage I am seeing. I mainly am creating this because I didn't want to be another medium poster and I was interested in learning some web technologies. I decided to use Next.js 15 for this project. I started out in a 'CRA' project but that's a tangent I won't be touching right now.

My thoughts on what I want out of this website I want this site to do a couple things that it does not do right now.

First, the editor that I created with the help of AI that I am using to write this post is not the best. I want to see the exact things that will be generated, formatting and all.
Secondly, I want it to have more content on a lot of the different pages as well as have a general filtering feature so that people that come to read what I have to say can choose what topics they want to see. I follow baseball people to hear their baseball takes, not their opinions on the war in Ukraine. So I want to provide that here. Everything else is much later and/or lower impact on the general product I will be showing so I am going to keep a list on the TODO page in the navbar of all the small things I want to update and anyone who is interested can watch in real time how many of those items I knock out.
